Yesterday when I woke up, I had the most beautiful email in my inbox: one of my short story submissions has been accepted to be published in a fantasy anthology. I’m super excited, of course. Not giving any more details for the moment before I don’t have the contract, or even better see my name in print.
To celebrate, I put up another short story – a 500 word drabble. I usually write fantasy in various shades, but I thought I’d try something different here. Bonus points if you like Demi Lovato, and recognize the song the story title is a line of.
I am now officially not just an English language fiction writer, but also a fiction author. (Translating a published German story didn’t count.)
